Sangriaproduktion bei Power Shut Down (im Moment fast jeden Tag für mehrere Stunden).


Gestern kam das Weihnachtspaket von Dettmanns. Finns gebastelte Kerze wurde bei der Stromabschaltung gleich verwendet!

Handgrafted tealights from my best friends son Finn was used directly after arrival as the power was shut down again.


My telephone is more a calculator than a phone, but it shows at least which YEAR we have (not that I will forget that one).

Mein Telefon ist mehr ein Taschenrechner als ein Telefon, aber zeigt in großen Ziffern das Jahr an in dem wir uns befinden (zum Glück).

Wein der auf Hagelkörnern wachsen kann. Kleiner Scherz, diese Weinpflanzen aus Gewebekultur werde ich für einen Teil meiner Experimente verwenden.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden in Cape Town and Sunset Concert with Seether

Am Sonntag sind Mandi, Noa, Jan, Hano und ich in den Botanischen Garten nach Kapstadt gefahren um uns Seether (www.seether.com) anzusehen. Der Garten ist riesiggroß und man braucht eigentlich einen ganzen Tag um alles zu sehen. Das schöne ist, dass man sich einfach überall auf den Rasen setzen kann und die schöne Aussicht genießen kann. Hano hat mit uns eine kleine Führung gemacht und dann sind wir auch schon auf das Konzertgelände mitten im Park gegangen. Normalerweise ist dort ab 15 Uhr Picknick angesagt, aber es hat morgens so geregent, dass wir es gelassen haben. Um 17.30 Uhr spielte dann Seether und leider hat es auch nochmal ordentlich geschüttet. Egal, war trotzdem super.



On Sunday Mandi, Noa, Jan, hano and myself went to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens directly at the Table Mountain to see a concert of Seether. The garden itself is huge and to see everything you need the hole day. Okidiko would have liked it, but he is in Spain already. Hano took us on a small tour through the garden before we went to the concert area. It was raining that day "a bit" but we still enjoyed the concert.
