After St Lucia, I flew back to Cape Town to spend some time with my sister and Christoph.

Watching hippos and crocodiles in St Lucia

Besides the hippos which were crossing the street at night we went on a boat trip to watch them in water and to find some crocodiles. As we jumped on the boat with two groups of tourists and on of them was german we even did not pay anything :-).


Neben den Flusspferden die abends die Strasse überquert haben wollten wir sie auch einmal im Wasser sehen. Auf einer Bootsfahrt mit lustigen deutschen und anderen Touristen und der Reiseführerin Ingrid haben wir dann Hippos und Krokodile gesehen. Da wir so getan haben als ob wir zu der Bustruppe gehören, haben wir auch nichts bezahlt.

Eines der gefährlichsten Tier in Südafrika: Die weisse zweilattige Bank. Hier muss man besonders aufpassen und Abstand halten wenn Jungtiere, sogenannte Stühle, der Mutterbank folgen.

One of the most dangerous animals in South Africa is the white two-latched settee. Especially when young chairs are around you havce to keep distance and avoid eye contact.

The last three days of our holiday we stayed in St Lucia at the Bibs Backpackers.
