Lange nichts mehr geschrieben...

...aber hier ist auch tatsächlich kaum etwas interessantes passiert. Die Uni ist so gut wie menschenleer, sogar die Läden auf dem Campus haben zu und ich kann froh sein, dass ein laden noch Mittagessen verkauft. Alle Studenten und die meisten Angestellten sind aus Stellenbosch verschwunden...fehlen eigentlich nur noch die trockenen Büsche die über die Straße wehen. Auch meine internationale Truppe hat sich aufgelöst, Flo ist schon daheim, Oscar letzte Woche auch geflogen, Johannes bringe ich nachher für seinen Weihnachtsbesuch in Deutschland zum Flughafen (der bleibt aber zum Glück mal 2 -3 Jahre hier), Noa und Jan sind in Namibia oder Botswana irgendwo im Busch, achja, da sind Gerald, Olli, Cédric und Konsorten auch gerade. Alle fahren mit www.nomadtours.ca.za (für alle die was planen, Sabine war mit denen auch los und war begeistert). Wenn das Wetter gut is mache ich Heilig Abend am Strand ein Picknick mit Britas Freunden (die Frau, die ich im Flugzeug kennengelernt habe).

Dann gibt es auch sicher wieder ein paar neue Fotos. Und ich habe mir zu Weihhnachten und zum Geburtstag einen riesen Sonnenschirm für meine Terasse gekauft!


Long time no writing....

but actually nothing really happened overhere. The Campus is completely empty, all students and staff are gone on holiday to their hometowns or beach houses. Flo and Oscar are already back in Europe and one of them still has something what belongs to me, Oscar! :-) The last of the Internationals (Johannes) I will bring to the airport for his X-mas holiday in Germany and then I arranged successfully that all they are all gone. Noa and Jan will come back on 30.12. They are like Gerald, Cédric, Olli and the others on a tour with www.nomadtours.co.za and are now in Botzwana or Namibia somewhere in the bush watching animals, sunsets and sunrises without break. If the weather stays fine I will have a picknick with Brita (the woman I met on the plane on my way to SA) and her friends at the beach on 24.12. in the afternoon. For my birthday not many people are left to show up, but Jaques and Helen will come and probably Mandi and we make a relaxing afternoon with some beers and garlic braaid prawns.
