Farewell Party of Noa and Jan

After Riaans gave insight into the southern hemisphere everybody on the picture should know by now where the southern cross is and how to find out were the south is.

A short update from Stellenbosch: Jan and Noa left me alone! Both had to go back to Europe as their studytime (or whatever one could call that) was over. You both will be missed over here. Big hug from Kora, she is sad that she couldn't see you before you left.
Last Thursday Noa and Jan invited for a nice farewell party in Jonkershoek 91 and friends and colleagues showed up. We had a nice time with wine, sangria, moquito, beer and braai. After sleeping only 6 h from Thursday to Saturday because of good party and airport transfer arrangement with osCAR, I slept very long on Saturday the hole day until 14.30 before I went to Hano and Liana for a braai. There were former colleagues of Hano and they were showing wonderful pictures about the area I will go woth Mella, Mosche and Steffi mid of February (St. Lucia, Game Reserve and Sodwana for diving).
On Sunday we drove to Koelbay for a last day on the beach, as Olli has to fly back home tomorrow morning.

Mal wieder ein kleines Update aus Stellenbosch: Am letzten Donnerstag war die Abschiedsparty von Noa und Jan. Beide haben für einige Woche bei mir in der Jonkershoek Road gelebt. Ihre Zeit an der Uni ist nun leider vorbei, und sie sind wieder in den Niederlanden. Am Donnerstag wurde also kräftig gebraait mit ein paar Kollegen und Freunden der Beiden. Noa ist dann am Freitag früh geflogen, Jan dann am Samtagmorgen. Am Freitag kamen abends noch Riaan und Jacki zu Jans letztem braai vorbei und danach sind wir in den Springbok zum Pool spielen gefahren. Wurde mal wieder später als geplant. Samstag früh (also früh heisst jedesmal 4.30 aufstehen und zum Flughafen fahren) bin ich mit Jan nochmal zum Flughafen gefahren. Schade, die Zeit war sehr schön. Danach habe ich erstmal bis 14.30 schlafen müssen, da ich seit Donnerstag nur 6 Stunden im Bett verbracht hatte. Dann gings zu Hano und Liana zum Braai. Dort waren nette alte Kollegen von Hano, die auch schon Urlaub in St. Lucia, Sodwana und dem Game Reserve gemacht haben, in das ich mit Mella, Mosche und Steffi Mitte Februar fahren werde. Die Fotos davon waren super. Sonntag bin ich dann mit Olli und Johannes nochmal zum Strand. Der arme Olli muss ja morgen schon zurück nach Deutschland.
